The Vermont Cemetery is located near Oswego, Illinois and is a pioneer cemetery presently in the custody of the Morten Arboretum of Lisle, Illinois. This cemetery is being preserved for it's original prairie grass and plant life. Therefore genealogical work is at best a token effort to obtain names of those buried there. The Bolingbrook Genealogical Society would appreciate the assistance of all who know of people buried there. So many of the stones have been buried, stolen and deteriorated that future identification of those buried rest only with the knowledge of their relatives.
