This cemetery is divided (by walls) into 3 distinct parts. The southernmost part is the oldest, with graves from mid-1800s to mid-1900s. It is the least planned part of the cemetery, with nothing in the way of plot numbering, etc. This part is accessible from Pearse Road (beside the GAA pitch, Markievicz Park), or from the middle part of the cemetery. The middle part of this cemetery has graves from the early to late-1900s, although some are family plots, with later burials into the 2010s. It is slightly better laid out than the older part, but again, most plots are not numbered. Entrance is from Cemetery Road (opposite Cairns Drive), or from either the Old or the New part of the cemetery. The newest part of the cemetery has grave from the 1980s onwards, and is laid out in a more regimented fashion. Each row is numbered on a kerbstone at either end of the "block". It is accessible from Cemetery Road (Opposite Fatima Avenue) or from the middle part of the cemetery.
