William was a farmer and magistrate in the Pentridge district.Born in County Monaghan, arrived in Melbourne Dec 1841. Married to English woman Anna Maria Crosswell, they had 9 children 2 dying in infancy. Information on Board by Friends of Coburg Cemetery, Number 9
Thomas, son of William died in a bank robbery , Late Manager of the Union Bank of Australia at Roebourne, W.A who was murdered, whilst fast asleep on the bank premises.
