John & Rosa married in Notting Hill, London and later, with 17 month old daughter Lily Mary, arrived into Wellington, NZ on 22 Jan 1875 on the 'Berar' . Lilly was 1 of the 21 who died on board from Scarlet Fever. A son, Frederick John Meacheam was born on board 2 weeks before landing
