1839 Erected by George Carmichael in xxxxx of Davidstown, Cairney. In memory of his affectionate parents James Carmichael who died the 18th of Feb 1836 aged 84 and of his spouse Jean Anderson who died the 12th of Jan 1838 aged 77 years and of their son Peter who died the 26th of xxx 1834 aged 52, and also their son Alexander late Farmer of xxxx xxxxx died the 21st Jan or Feb 1839 aged 39 years, their son George who died xxxx on the 13th xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx
