CAPTAIN PATRICK BRAIN OLSON UNITED STATES AIR FORCE

Captain Olson Was Killed In ACTION On 27th February 1991 serving the country and the flag of which he was so fiercely proud. As a combat pilot during the PERSIAN GULF WAR, He flew the OA-10 "Thunderbolt II"

As a forward air Controller. His mission included flying deep behind enemy lines to locate and mark enemy positions for allied fighters to attack conditions and heavy enemy defences that seriously threatened his own personal safety and volunteered to press the attack against superior enemy forces saving the lives of countless entrapped American soldiers, In The Ensuring Battle. His Aircraft was severely damaged by enemy ground fire. he was killed attempting to save his badly crippled aircraft.

Captain Olson was awarded the silver star for his heroic actions. he gave "the last full measure" with dignity and honor
