In Loving Memory of JOHN SHIPPERD who died 26th Sep 1887 aged 74 years, and he was not for God took him "Himself hath done it". All ***** how those words should hush to silence every murmuring thought "Himself hath done it" He who my soul with his own blood hath bought himself hath done it, yes although severe may seem the stroke and bitter be the cup 'Tis his own hand that holds it and I know hell give me grace to drink it meekly up, also of MARY SHIPPERD wife of the above died Augst 19th 1908 aged 84 years.
