To the Memory of Ann Askew, widow of the late Anthony Askew, Esq.

Who died April 20th,1833,

Aged 65.

Also her two grandchildren Felix Henry and Louisa were, who died in their infancy.

married Carolina daughter of William Hicks Esq. ___ Sheppy in the County of Kent in 1749. __ Dying 19th April 1754. He left issue daughters Carolina Jane and Anna.

He (John) was brave in action, nice in Honour___ steady in principle and Agent in Affection. ___ is doubtful which was greatest in the public or the private loss.
