Verified information at Oak Hill Cemetery when took the pictures for the Billion Graves on 9/25/2023 in Belle Plaine, Iowa.
Harold’s Birth information was not totally clear. Appeared to be May 3? And __ 81. Based of his mother’s information I estimated it to be the year 18 and 81. His death was definitely Sept and 1891. Date appeared either 1, or 4 but went with the 4.
No other information was on “Jessie S.” Small Headstone but since this stone was with the other’s I decided to the best of my reasoning that it must be a Douglas relative too.
After some research I found that there is also a large headstone to the east of this small “Jessie S.” Headstone in the next row in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Belle Plaine, Iowa that reads: Jessie S., Wife of W. A. Douglas, Died in Belle Plaine June 29, 1877, Aged 31 Yrs. (Added Death date and Age to this record information).
