Erected by Jean Allan in memory of her husband William McIntosh, East High Street, Forfar. And of their four children who died in infancy. Also the above Jean Allan who died at Forfar. Also in memory of their son William who died at Tacoma, Washington USA. Also of their grandson William Allan Jones, merchant, Colombo, Ceylon, who died there. Their daughter Jean McIntosh widow of James Jones.
