Erected by Angus Mathie in memory of his beloved wife Agnes Kirkwood who died 30th April 1886 Aged 60 years. Also the above Angus Mathie who died 17 July 1909 aged 66 years. Also his son PTE. William A. Mathie 7th Camerdn Highlanders killed in action 28th March 1918 aged 23 years also Annie Allison beloved wife of the above Angus Mathie who died 10th May 1935 aged 66 years. Also their granddaughter Annie Allison Mathie who died 22 May 1930 aged 9 months.Also their son James A. Mathie Beloved husband of Isabella Allison who died 16th July 1952 aged 64 years and the above Isabella Allison who died 15th January 1952 aged 67 years-Elizabeth Mathie who died 23rd January 1960 aged 82 years daughter of the above Angus Mathie-Not Lost but gone before.
