Jakob Bauer was born in Walchstadt near Lake Starnberg. He served in WWI as a military chauffeur . He married Klara Mayr in 1921 in Hütting (near Neuburg an der Donau) and moved to Viehbach. Later he founded a lemonade business and a taxi service. Jakob Jr. was born in Viehbach. He served in WWII in a Panzer Division in Russia and France. His unit surrendered in western Czechoslovakia. After the war, Jakob continued running the lemonade business.
This grave also contains the parents of Jakob Bauer, but it is not recorded on this newer gravestone.
Father: Jakob Bauer (1851-1934).
Mother: Maria Bauer (1855-1935).
Leonard & Magdalena Hammerl were friends of the Bauer Family who were also buried at this spot.
