Located close to the Hamlin Lane entrance to Higher Cemetery, Heavitree, Exeter, Devon, England.

William (Bill) Johns, (my brother in law), is buried with his mother, Pat, and father, Ivor, both of whom died after him.

Bill was a construction engineer, and died trying to save a work colleague from falling off the top of a building.

Both men fell.

Bill died from his injuries, however his colleague survived, but was rendered disabled and unable to walk again.
