Elizabeth Teresa Jameson was born in County Tyrone. She is is buried here in St Joseph's Burial Ground, Upper Hutt. Her husband, Joseph Jameson, is buried in Archer Street .

Joseph was born in 1843 at Ovingham, Northumberland. He was the son of Henry Jameson and Ann Saishman.

In 1851 he was living with his parents, Henry (a fire brick maker aged 34 and Ann (28), his siblings - William (8), Elizabeth (5), Isabella (2) and Ann (11 months) - and a lodger John Shanks at Prudhoe, Hexham, Northumberland. He was a scholar aged seven.

In 1861 he was living with his parents. He was a brick maker aged 17.

Joseph emigrated to New Zealand in the early seventies on the Wild Duck. He became a grocer in 1872 at Upper Willis Street, Wellington, where he ran a business with his brother William. On 14 Oct 1874 notice was given that the partnership under the name of Jameson Brothers & Co had been dissolved by mutual consent. From 9 Oct Joseph carried on the business on his own.

He married Annie Wilkie on 16 Nov 1874 at his residence, Willis Street, Wellington. No children found.

He had 3 children with Elizabeth Teresa Kelly from 1889-1900. They married 4 Feb 1925. He was 76 & Elizabeth was 62. Elizabeth died 10 months later, on 3 Dec 1825, at 30 Kent Terrace and Joseph went to live with their son Joseph in Masterton. He died 13 July 1927 aged 83 years at his son's home, Essex Street. He was buried in Archer Street. His probate was granted at Masterton. His will was made while he was a grocer living at 30 Kent Terrace, Wellington. He left money to his book-keeper, his brother Henry Thomas and his daughters Catherine and Elizabeth, an annual sum of £260 to be paid to his wife (who had predeceased him), and the rest to his son Joseph who was also the Executor.
