George A. Gebhardt- age 81, a native of Missouri and a resident of Fairhope, AL passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008, at a local hospital. Mr. Gebhardt was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Gebhardt and her partner Margaret Valentine of Montclair, NJ, June Marie Hanko of Fairhope, AL, Kelly Plocher and her husband Ron of Yorkville, IL, son, John Gebhardt of Ventura, CA, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial mass will be held from St. Lawrence Catholic Church, on Saturday, February 9, 2007, at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30pm until service time. The family suggests that memorials be made, in memory of Mr. Gebhardt, to Odyssey Hospice, 2800 Dauphin Street, Suiet 103, Mobile, AL 36606.
