A true son of the church,

A true lover of his country,

A tender husband, a loving father, and a firm friend.

He was born September 26, 1672 & Died September 8, 1728

Leaving one daughter only, Anna Maria, alive at his death. This monument was erected, at the cost of Mr. Lucy Lloyd his very sorrowfull widow.
