Emma Arlene DeBose

UNIONTOWN -- Emma Arlene DeBose, 52, Uniontown, died Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Methodist Hospital.

She was a member of New Beginnings Church in Sturgis.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Harness McCree.

Survivors include her husband, James DeBose of Uniontown; two daughters, Cheryl DeBose and Ashley DeBose, both of Uniontown; one son, Nathan Arhelger of McCormick, S.C.; three sisters, Judy Ward of Sturgis, Sue Ortiz of Albuquerque, N.M., and Ruth Piper of Morganfield; one brother, Michael Kanipe of North Carolina; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Brother Chris Reynolds will officiate. Burial in Uniontown City Cemetery in Uniontown.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
