Maybe an Italian can shed some light, I am not Italian, so am guessing on first and last name, I found that both are used as surnames, so could be the other way around (Arcangello Cavasin). There are no other graves with either name. Palouse is (and always has been) a small, rural, farm community, with no Italian community, and given his age, I would assume he (and, again, guessing it is a male, only for the reason that there is no husband's grave, but I don't know if either name would be a male or female first name) immigrated here for work or came with a family member. Since the stone is done in Italian, my assumption would be he had to have a family member here, because nobody would have known Italian in Palouse
