Waupecong Lost Cemetery

This cemetery was recently rededicated by the Miami County (IN) Cemetery Board. It had been destroyed by a farmer several decades ago when the old broken grave markers were dumped in a swampy down the road. It is believed some 40 people are buried here but only a handful have been identified thanks to quaker records and the knowledge of people who remembered the cemetery location. One new stone was unearthed February 23,2017 but did not provide information that could identify whose it was. Caldwell Monuments were instrumental in laying the new stones and reinserting the old one in October 2016
