Description
Tom was a schoolmaster. He was dismissed by the Education Department c1881 and in 1882 a 5 shilling reward was offered to the first person furnishing information on his whereabouts (was thought to be in Canterbury). In 1887 Thomas was in Invercargill and charged with deserting his wife, leaving her destitute.
