Curban Cemetery is located in a portion of the Brigalow woodland within Curban State Forest, situated on elevated terrain to the east of the former Curban Village. As you enter the cemetery, you'll notice the presence of vehicle and pedestrian gates, constructed with tubular frames and wooden posts. The majority of the graves are arranged in a single row, distinguished by white marble headstones. Some graves are adorned with picket fences, while others feature concrete and terrazzo elements. Notably, there is a solitary grave belonging to Yap Tow, marked by a concrete headstone. Additionally, you'll come across a significant burial site honoring Burly Vera Brook, along with a monument dedicated to Sergeant L.S. Brook. This particular monument is encircled by a combination of granite and cast iron, complemented by a white marble tablet.
